So, only a few hours after my last post, I decided to fork
out the money and go home for Christmas.
While I’m still VERY disappointed that I can’t go on the amazing
Christmas journey I’d planned, I am also excited to see my family and friends
at home. I’ve been running around like
crazy trying to get all the gifts together that I want to give them. J
I’ll be taking an overnight bus to Madrid and then taking my
flight from Madrid in the morning. It’s going to be a long journey, but it will
be very nice to see loved ones on the other end. I’ll be home soon!
Some things I’m looking forward to in the USA:
- Seeing my family!!!
- Seeing my friends
- Central heat
- Driving a car (which is weird because I am usually not a huge fan of driving)
- Giving everyone their presents
- Going to my church
- Getting 100% better ;)
- Chipotle
- Spicy food
- Free refills
- Taking a bunch of stuff home and leaving it there.
- Spending Christmas with loved ones
- Seeing The Hobbit without dubbing or subtitles!
It’s going to be a good trip! It will be refreshing and uplifting and, I’m
sure, just what I need. I’m getting more
and more excited to go home!!
AND, I’m looking forward to returning to Spain fully
recovered. This next semester is going
to be even better than the first!!
Thanks everyone for your continued support, thoughts, and
prayers! I’ll see some of you soon!
